Playa Olid Suites & Apartments is located in the South of Tenerife, is currently in the process of reforming and modernizing its facilities and has selected Royal Grass as an artificial grass for its natural appearance, high quality and safety.
Ecograss, our supplier of the Canary Islands, is carrying out this project consisting of:
- 2 outdoor pools with more than 500m2 of Royal Grass Seda each. The work has been done at night, to not close the pools to the guests.
- 20 terraces in the rooms in which Royal Grass Seda will also be installed, and
- A playground which will be installed with Royal Grass XPlay, the best surface for playgrounds thanks to the superior quality fibers that have been specially developed for this purpose.
The guests of the Playa Olid will enjoy fully renovated facilities with the best artificial grass.

Safety has been an absolute priority of Royal Gras since starting the company in 2003. By safety we mean that it should be possible to use all the products without any risk at all of health problems.
That’s why, in 2004, we asked Dutch research institute TNO to test our artificial grass. TNO used the EN71-3 norm to do so. This European norm applies to toys and is one of the strictest norms in the safety area. The norm states that products may only be considered safe if there are zero PAHs or any other harmful substances released if the toys are played with or sucked on.
In 2004 it was shown that our products meet this strict EN71-3 norm. That has reinforced our decision to always feel completely comfortable marketing the Royal Grass® brand.

Royal Grass Spain annual meeting took place in the Ecograss facilities in Tenerife on 28, 29 and 30 November.
